The only show in town

  • Having researched many possible solutions to WP-phpBB integration, this was the ONLY one which actually worked. Alessio sorted out some initial issues with WP Multisite and it has continued to work flawlessly.

    Edit to add (4 years later) – The continuous development and support for this plugin remains awesome!

    let say … to be honest, when doing updates like the one coming in very short time on 1.7.5 … it work, but i see time by time how it could be better coded, and discovering bugs and possibles very powerful improvements. We are just on the long way … in the while, 1.7.5 will resolve many of these bugs, and should be a very stable version, with several important bugs resolved and some addition.

    * Last Topics Widget fix: one single query, for all Last Topics widget's instances.
* Last Topics Read/unread fix (that was reported as bug, and finally has been found where and why it was coming out (no phpBB uid passed in certain conditions)).
* Add Buddypress avatar and user's profile fields integration options. About how to use it, please see .... coming ....
* Add Shortcode to retrieve and display phpBB Last Topics on WP posts, pages etc. About how to use it, please see .... coming ....
* Functions about profile updates have been optimized (class WP_w3all_phpbb -> phpbb_update_profile AND class WP_w3all_phpbb -> verify_phpbb_credentials).
* Fix some wrong hints on Wp_w3all admin config page.
* More important fixes and code cleanup.
