The options doesn't save

  • Hello, first all, sorry for my english, I’m from Argentina

    I’ve a problem with the gallery, when I go to the options, and edit any field, this doesn’t change, in example:
    Gallery>Ajustes Galería(or english translation)>Miniaturas NextGEN Básicas(some like “Basics NextGEN thumbs”)>Imágenes por página(some like “Images per page”)>20, I change to 50, but doesn’t change…

    And the same with “Mostrar enlace presentación” (“Show Slideshow link” or some like this).

    This happens also in Gallery>Otras opciones(some like “Other options”)>?Cuál es el método de ordenación por defecto?(some like “Which is the defect order method”)>Here I put “ID > DESC” (or any another option) but the gallery shows the latest images in the last page…

    Can someone help me?

    – WordPress up to date? Yes, but I don’t test the plugin in the previous version
    – NextGEN up to date? No

    (please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.0)? Yes
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)? Yes
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? Yes
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? Yes

    Additional information that will help us find a solution:
    – Who are you hosted with? Myself (I use xampp 1.8.3)
    – What theme are you running? Custom theme, but this doesn’t work even if I use the Twenty series
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated? Akismet, Meta Slider, WP Smush.it and NextGEN Gallery. (I try disbling all the plugins

  • I have the same problem. When I try to save any change in “Settings” or “other options” there is a success message but really nothing has changed!

    @giglionews I find the “solution”
    You need to go to the post/gallery where is the gallery, delete it, and put in again, this way the plugin “refresh”

    Anyway the lightbox Fancybox doesn’t works…

    @juliannnss – Did you sort out the issue, or was there more than one thing going on here? Also, do you see the same problem if you use NextGEN Gallery on a remote site?
