The Page Shows Digit 1 on Load and Nothing Else

  • Here is the issue that we are facing:

    The page is restricted to only members and other people should be redirected to the registration page. But, it sometimes shows a blank page with digit ‘1’ only instead of redirecting to the page properly.

    We are using Autoptimize plugin for caching and Caching provided by Ultimate Members is set to Zero.

    Is it autoptimize causing issues with Ultimate Member plugin? If yes, how?

    And, why is there the digit ‘1’ on the screen? Please help and guide.

  • just to clarify; Autoptimize does not do (page) caching, but JS/ CSS/ Image/ … optimization ??

    And if you don’t do caching then what is that clear cache thing, pretty much confused!!

    the “them” refers to the optimized scripts & styles, not to pages ??

    Still, you are caching one or the other thing and that is what I mentioned(not page or something). Thank you for explaining but the issue is something different and the focus should not be diverted for the team.

    Hi @himanshuranking,

    Do you have any other caching plugins installed or server side caching active?
    Please try to do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts with your theme or one of your plugins and see if this issue goes away. This doc explains how to do a conflict test.

    No, we don’t have any other plugin for caching and the hosting has no caching option. The reason I think a conflict test would not help is that the issue only happens randomly and not every time.

    So, even if we will remove all the plugins and all we can’t be sure if it is gone or not.

    Do you have something to do with that digit ‘1’ in your plugin’s workflow?
