the page with entries does not display entries from the last year only from olde

  • Hello
    The problem is that when the polylang plugin is active then the BLOG page (with entries) does not display the latest entries only those added a year ago and older. Oddly enough, I have a plugin called Recent Posts Widget Extended and it displays all entries in footer.
    WordPress 5.2.4, Avada theme, PHP 7.2
