    Hi guys,
I am having huge problems with Wordfence on a website.
I have the admin account, whitelisted my static ipaddress, enabled 2fa, however, i cannot login (i have not had this issue before).

any attempt to email a lost password reset also fails to rectify the problem because as soon as i try to do this i then am presented with a new error…

“max failed logins please try again in 30minutes”

This has also continued to be an issue even after i reset wordfence back to defaults via other means of obtaining access to my admin account first.

how do i problem solve this?

    Hi @computersimulatorscom

Wordfence doesn’t generate a messages that contains, “max failed logins please try again in X minutes” so this is not caused by us.

You will need to test deactivating all plugins individually to see what is generating that message causing the problem. It could also be a brute force login protection Must Use plugin installed by your hosting provider, so you will need to test manually disabling all Must Use plugins too.
