The Perfectionist’s WordPress Theme

I used to have this love/hate relationship with WordPress themes. I wanted to have a minimalist but powerful theme, that works seamlessly with WordPress.

Between spending hours building my own theme from scratch, and spending hours learning about a ready-made theme options and bloated page builder, I wanted something that offered all the built customization options I need, but minimalist enough that I didn’t have to spend hours overriding default styles. Thankfully, I didn’t lose hope.

What attracted me the most about GeneratePress is that improves upon the default WordPress Gutenberg Editor with new blocks, instead of overriding it and locking me into bloated slow page editor and elements with their own forced styling.

I wanted a theme that didn’t have me looking at a million places/settings. GeneratePress theme customizations are all exactly where they belong to be, in the default WordPress Theme Customization preview page. No more scrolling through pages of weird theme options pages that don’t have live preview.

Now with GeneratePress and Generate Blocks, I get to have a light but powerful WordPress theme.

The support team are very helpful and responsive, and they have built great resources for learning more about how to build whatever comes to mind using GeneratePress.

I highly recommend GeneratePress for everybody, including those who know how to code but don’t want to reinvent the wheel every time.
