    Hello,

    My current versions :
    Wordpress 5.5
    Powerpress 8.3.5

I have bene using Powerpress successfully for months, and the playlist too; it may be since the last update I ran this morning : the playlist is not showing up anymore. Here is the code in the page :

    [powerpress_playlist slug=”1sthour” limit=1000 style=”dark” type=”audio”]

I am a Linux sysadmin, I am just helping here, I am not that good at troubleshooting this stuff : I see the code for the playlist with the inspector, but I am not able to figure out what is wrong.

    Can you help me ?

    Robert

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Robert,

One thing to make sure of is in the PowerPress settings > Advanced menu, the PowerPress playlist is checked. If not, check it and save changes.

That is the first thing I would try.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the very quick answer.
    It is checked.

That playlist player is the stock WordPress Playlist.

Try putting just [powerpress_playlist] in and see if that works. If it does, maybe some of the variables changed.

I just did it, it is still totally void

Ok, the standard wordpress playlist is not showing up either : must be our old style.

Next thing. Try checking for a plugin or theme conflict.

Sometimes themes or other plugins will supress all players. I normally turn off plugins one by one and see if the player comes back.

You could try setting the “having issues” pulldown to one of the “Yes” answers. Find that in the PowerPress > settings > website > Shortcodes menu (near the bottom).

Did any of the “Yes” answers fix the problem?

Do the normal PowerPress players (on posts) show up?

Sorry, I am in France, Europe, it was my night 7 hours ago.
I just troubleshooted my staging website : as soon as I replaced the theme with a modern one, the playlist was visible again : so it is our old theme.
