  • Same problem here, WordPress (frontend and backend) completely crashing and showing blank page.

For the moment I disabled the plugin manually by renaming the plugin folder.

The same white blank screen and only the header is displayed. I tried to remove the shortcode, after that the site began to load, but the pictures that use Lazy Load are not loaded, perhaps there is a conflict between them. But if I deactivate the plugin “msls” then the site works fine and without errors.

I have the same problem with my site.
It goes completely black and no content is displayed.
When the page is inspected with the developer tools, the body tag is completely empty.

Ok, I will check this but I need more information. Do you use an add-on or customized code in your functions.php?

All that I use is just a plugin msls. The output of the language selection is via a shortcode, which is inserted into the HTML file. No add-ons have been installed.

I am using Msls Select as an additon. My functions.php is almost completely vanilla, except for the inclusion of a childtheme and font awesome CDN.
The theme we’re using is custom made, but based on Divi by Elegant Themes.

MslsSelect should not be a problem. I send some fixes online. Please check it!

Great, now there is no error. The only reason why all the translations were thrown off, will have to be arranged in records. This can somehow be avoided the next update.

    Thank you

Yes, that was a bigger one and hopefully, there will be no show-breaker anymore.

    Thanks again!

Thanks for your effort, but unfortunately seems still to be buggy. When trying to activate it, I am getting the following error:

The plugin can not be activated because it generates a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/mysite/wp-content/plugins/multisite-language-switcher/MultisiteLanguageSwitcher.php on line 61

I guess you have still an unsupported version of PHP installed. Please, update your PHP version at least to 5.6.

Grazie Dennis, that was the reason. Everything is running now!

Can I still ask how did you resolve this issue?

The header of the site I’m working in breaks after the last update. I’m using PHP 5.6.39.

What else should I be looking for to solve this bug?

Thank you very much for your support!

Is there any error message that you get?
