    Thanks for the bug report. It’s probably caused by old versions of PHP. I’ve updated the plugin to give a better message during install on older systems.

    The same thing happened on one of my sites – what is the minimum supported php version?

    Simple History is a great plugin, but to use it your server must have at least PHP 5.3 installed.

    Thanks for that, mulch – it’s one of my favourite plugins too ??

    In one spot the server reports php version 5.3.28 and in another it reports 5.2.17 so something weird is going on!

    I’ll take it up with my host – thanks for your help ??
