    @tonybearblog,

    Good morning, this problem is not from the plugin. This use to happen when there is some problem downloading it (the problem is in the repository or in your hosting).

    Please uninstall and then download it from this site and upload manually. It should work.

    And please take a note. I have used dozens of my hours doing this plugin for free.

    Now instead of asking first in the forum about the problem, you directly make the worst review and you throw away all my work done.

    This is not fair for us, we work for hours for free and the prize we get is a 1-star review without asking first. And the problem is not from ours.

    Please try it and tell me ??:(

    A second attempt to install from the repository worked.

    The plugin proved to be less than helpful, and has been uninstalled. The import failed to make the names available for use in WordPress/Jetpack post notifications. The import failed to add the names to our Users.

    NOTE: If you give an unfavorable review, the developer will stalk your social media asking you to change the review.

    @tonybearblog,

    I don’t stalk you. I only ask you to “ask before make a bad review”. You should be grateful about my concern in giving you the best support (for free).

    Anyway, I can’t do more. You don’t appreciate at all my work, my free hours, my free support and my dedication to this.

    It is a luck that most of the people say thank you, donate, ask before reviewing bad; and all that things that make possible that free software like this plugin or WordPress can exist.

    If you change your opinion, please tell me, I would be ready to help you using this plugin. The second problem here is really a problem of you, you don’t know how to use it, so I am here to help you.

    UPDATE:
    The names imported are unavailable for use in WordPress/Jetpack post notifications. The import failed to add the names to our WordPress Users.

    The import DID add the names to a list in the Email Subscribers plugin. The plugin is sending Post Notifications to this list. The Reports tab shows some (a very few) of the Notifications as “Viewed.” The Subscribers list is showing which of the emails has “Unsubscribed.”

    When importing we selected the option to “Select Subscribers Email Status: Confirmed.” As a test, we “Unconfirmed” an email address (my own) and attempted to “Resend Confirmation.” The Confirm email has yet to arrive to Inbox or Junk folders.

    The test email addy was returned to “Confirmed” status, and Post Notifications are being received.

    We would change the review to four stars because some of the functions are working as advertised. If the Resend Confirmations worked for us, it could lead to more of the emails being viewed.
