The plugin does not have a valid header

FYI, I just deleted plugin, then re-added. This time I didn’t get that message – activation worked.
Either you fixed it that fast;) or there’s a glitch worth looking into?

I suspect the plugin file(s) were truncated during the initial install.

I am seeing the same error. Delete and reinstall did not help.

I was able to activate it by going into Installed Plugins and then selecting “Activate”

It seems the plugin zip file has the wrong content. There is dir called trunk in it. Remove that from the zip and everything works fine

Thank you all. I see what @zendoggy says. It’s not right and I’ll correct next update – should be sooner than later.

I am using a Mac and don’t have a zip file – I’m also a complete novice.
I need the plugin to upload demo files for a theme.
It’s taken me hours to get this far…
How can I work around this error message please to get the plugin uploaded?

tags/1.5/trunk has been deleted so if this was the cause of the problem as suspected then it should be solved. Please post a reply if you still see the issue after this change.
