Hi, I would like to report a weird issue. The plugin only works when another plugin which does the same job is installed but not activated.

    Hello @effiekyr,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Can you please give us more details so we can test this on our end?

    Thank you,

    Beatrice.

We are using the Divi theme and we needed a plugin to reorder the projects and the project categories. We managed to reorder the projects but when we tried with the project categories, it woulld not save the custom order and apart from that, it made the categories on the single project pages disappear. So while we were trying other plugins, we noticed that the categories appeared once we installed the plugin “Intuitive Custom Post Order” and we hadn’t activated it yet. It’s weird but right now everything is working just because we have the plugin I mentioned… installed but not actiivated.

    Hi @effiekyr,

Unfortunately I was unable to replicate this on my end.
I recommend installing this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.

Go to its troubleshoot mode and?only activate SCPO?and see if it works correctly with?the default theme and no other plugins.
If it does then activate the plugins one by one until you find the culprit.

Please let me know how it goes!

    Warmly,

    Beatrice.

Since the Projects post type comes with Divi, checking with the default theme can’t work. So, I deactivated all the plugins and I only left SCPO activated. Again the categories disappeared from the project page.
