    The plugin doesn’t appear to be overwriting files since v3.4.1 including v4.6.1.

    As previously reported by jhdean about 10 months ago, I just verified that it’s also not working (by overwriting files) in the current version as of today in v4.6.1.

    Is the plugin being updated and supported. If so, can the developer please look at this and correct it?

    FYI: A new plugin at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/overwrite-it/ seems to work being that the developer of Overwrite Uploads has not updated this plugin in quite some time. I hope this helps anyone that wanted this functionality. Gary Gordon (wpbns.com)

    It never stopped working for me, but version 1.2 fixes a few bugs that other people ran into.

    If it’s still not working for anyone after installing 1.2, please post the exact steps you followed to upload the file, so that I can try to reproduce the issue. Also, let me know whether the Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders box is checked under Settings > Media.
