    Hello,

When I click on a certain title in my table of content, it jumps too far so the visitor does not see the title on which he jumped. Meaning he jumps to a certain section and see the text, but he does not see the H2 Title. How can I change this? Could you please assist me? Your help would be much appreciated

You have a static header … navigate to the Settings : Table of Contents admin page and increase the Smooth Scroll Offset option to be more than then the height of the static header.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you! Did not know this setting was for this. Now it works like a charm. Have a good day ??

Thanks for any help here. I have same question but the above fix didn’t solve it. Apologies if this is user error on my end. I’ve tried adjusting the Smooth Scroll Offset but even at 999 px it doesn’t seem to do anything: when I click on a line in the TOC it jumps (nice and smoothly) down the page but so far that the Heading to which it’s jumped is obscured. Yes, I click Save Changes after changing Scroll values, and update page.

Here’s the page where I’m using Easy TOC (just added the plug-in, it’s just what I need):

    Thanks – Jim P

My best guess is that the jQuery Smooth Scroll plugin you have installed is conflicting with the jQuery Smooth Scroll library utilized in ezTOC.

My suggestion is to try deactivating the jQuery Smooth Scroll plugin.

Steven, thanks very much. You were exactly right. That fixed it… Much appreciated!
