The Plugin send out Mails to all commenters

  • After updating to Version 3.0, the plugin begins to send out mails to all my commenters. I have a rule to send out just one mail after some days to commenters. Just one. And after the update, the plugins sends out an email to every commenters for every comment. Also an update to Version 3.0.1 is not the solution. I had to deaktivate the plugin. Would be great to turn on the plugin without sending mails to all the commenters.

    The logic is there and it worked when I tested it. Are you sure that it is distinct comments that are receiving the same ‘thank you’ message? If you have multiple messages set up in Thank Me Later, could it be that multiple messages are sent to the same comment? 3.0 works slightly differently in that more than one message can be sent for a comment — you will have to set explicit targeting options to target specific categories, tags or posts. The maximum send limit now applies for each message, and is not a global setting.

    Failing that, could you provide some more information about your configuration:

    * the number of messages you have, and the “Maximum send limit” for each message.
    * the version of WordPress you are using (and PHP and MySQL versions, if you have that information to hand).
