    Hello.

    It seems the plugin started calling https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/ even though Google Tag Manager isn’t used and isn’t connected (I compared waterfalls before and after the last update).

    Can this be prevented?

    Thanks for reaching out @asafm7.

    If you connect the Google Analytics module, or even use a manually inserted Google Analytics code snippet, the URL of this resource will reference googletagmanager.com. This doesn’t mean Google Tag Manager is active on your site, as you’ll see from this guide. It’s only an indication that the gtag.js script Analytics resource is hosted on that URL.

    I now understand that the issue is that our cookie consent plugin isn’t blocking GA4 before consent anymore.
