We updated this plugin to 1.5.5 and it caused a fatal error that wouldn’t allow the admin page to load on any site that had it running.

I’m a huge fan of mailgun, just ensure this plugin isn’t causing conflicting with your hosting provider.

With the 1.5.5 version, there was a change that was incompatible with PHP versions older than 5.5. I have fixed this in the 1.5.6 release, but I must also recommend that you upgrade your PHP version to at least 5.5.38 (old stable), although 5.6 or even 7.0 would be preferred, if possible. Older PHP versions may have security vulnerabilities and other incompatibilities with other software, which can cause big problems.

I hope the 1.5.6 release fixes your issue!

Due to our Hosting Service Provider, we were unable to upgrade to the newest version of PHP on the fly easily.

Thank you for this fix. Greatly appreciated!
