    Hi Sagiet,

The provided screenshot is a common sign of a plugin conflict, or general JavaScript error. WordPress 5.6 is a major update and it’s possible that you may have a plugin installed that’s not compatible with the newer version of jQuery included with WordPress. That will result in an error and due to how JavaScript errors work, that would result in JavaScript-heavy plugins, like SiteOrigin CSS, being not working as expected.

Can you please try temporarily changing to a default WordPress theme to see if that helps?

    Kind regards,
    Alex

    Hi Per,

To confirm, did you try switching to a default WordPress theme to confirm if the issues you’re facing is still occurring? The type of results you were getting in your previous screenshot is a sign of an error and that type of error can be caused by other plugins and themes.

Regarding the selectors you’re getting, would it be possible for you to send me a copy of the CSS you’ve added in a Pastebin?

    Kind regards,
    Alex

    Hi Per,

Thanks for trying. In your screenshot it appears the issue you reported here isn’t occurring. Is that the case?

The pictured selector list contains previously used selectors. The #menu-item-19.menu-bg1.menu-item.menu-item-type-post_type.menu-item-object-page.menu-item-home.current-menu-item.page_item.page-item-6.current_page_item.menu-item-19 selector was used on line 304 which is why it’s listed.

    Kind regards,
    Alex

    Hi par,

Thanks for checking. Would you mind trying a development build of the next version of SiteOrigin CSS? This build includes some changes that should hopefully improve performance in general.

    Before proceeding, do a backup.

You can download the build by clicking here. Once downloaded navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins and deactivate SiteOrigin CSS, then delete it. Scroll to the top of the page and click Add New > Upload Plugin and upload so-css.1.2.12.1.zip.

    Kind regards,
    Alex
