The plugins stop to fetch from imdb

  • Hello, I’m not sure is this problem apears because of wordpress update but before 2 months it works just perfect. Now I can’t fetch movies from imdb, it says no poster and no info comes. In my web server log I can’t find any error , so I’m not sure is this problem from my linux box or wordpress version. I try the plugin on other 2 wordpress sites on diferent linux machines but with no luck, so may be need to be updated?

    Hi th0th, thanks for the update. I test the plugin on new wordpress site and it’s working, but on my blog when I update the plugin with the new version 1.0 my old movies disappeared and my link mysite.com/movies not working anymore. I downgrade the plugin and all the movies are back. Is this known issue or I made mistake somehow?

    I fix this problem by my self. I copy imdb.php from the new plugin and put it on my old one, then rename it to imdb_fetcher.php and now I have 0.75 working with all features! Thanks anyway.

    I debug one of my problems. It not shows the movies because of the new post_type in the new version of the plugin. In 1.0 post_type is called ‘movie’ , in 0.75 is ‘movies’ but still cant resolv the mysite.com/movies issue ??

    @friendbg, yes, I updated the custom post type code, sorry for the inconvenience.

    If permalinks are not working, go to permalink settings and click save even if you don’t change anything. It’ll re-create permalink structure.
