The plugins with Star icon are recommended by One Click Demo Import plugin

I have the same question on this. How can this be prevented when we have other products we may want to suggest? Because… it makes it seem as though “we” are the ones suggesting those plugins when “we” are not. The plugin is highlighting that. Customers may not read the “small print” that it’s coming from OCDI and not us.

Hi,

our small list of partner plugins can’t be removed from the recommended plugins step. They are marked with the star and explained in the notice. They are not preselected, so the user has to select them if they want to install them. If they just click on the next step, our recommended plugins will not get installed.

The list for the “Recommended plugins” can of course be extended by your recommended and required plugins. More information on how to do that can be found here.

The issue here is that the top message makes it seem like “we” are recommending those plugins so they will check them off. The message that those are OCDI Recommended plugins is at the very bottom where they will not see that message until after selecting them and they may not even read that part at all. The message should be clearly stated at the top before selecting that these are recommended by YOU not US. So based on your reply this is why I will not use this plugin.
