The problem with the translation plugin

    Made translation into Russian for the plugin.

    Created a folder /languages ??it created a file translation testimonial_rotator-ru_RU.po and testimonial_rotator-ru_RU.mo (looked resource file, there specified TEXTDOMAIN ‘testimonial_rotator’, tried to save as testimonial-rotator-ru_RU.po and testimonial-rotator-ru_RU.mo.

    Also no effect. Anyway all in English. Use programs poEdit.

    What could be the problem?

    By the way, plugin Awesome Weather translated without problems.

    Hi Nikolay,

    I have set it up wrong. I’ll get it fixed for the next version. If you want to make the change manually here is how to do it.

    Line 71 of testimonial-rotator.php has a function ‘load_plugin_textdomain’ at the end of it change the ‘/’ to ‘/languages/’

    That should get it working for you.

    Also the name of the file for anybody coming across this page should be ‘testimonial_rotator’ with the underscore instead of the dash:

    testimonial_rotator-ru_RU.po
