In this website link i would like to add a script provided by bible.org.
which is actually a widget, this widget will update daily verses every day.

I read this already but still it confuses me a lot, i tries adding the script location to the header of the site.

Andrew that’s just a screenshot i have added to the page for your reference . that’s a screenshot to show how i got the code and how it should look, after embedding the code in the page.

Oh I see. So it looks like there needs to be an element with a certain ID on the page for this to work – and there is indeed that element. Do you know anything about this? If not, someone would have had to have added that element in, perhaps they can provide more information?

Thanks andrew, But unfortunately am unaware of that i did try few plugins as well but they failed to work. may be i chose a plugin which was not functioning.

I have to add many javascripts inside the page. so it is important.

There is one problem before you do that. At the moment, your theme’s JavaScript file is throwing an error. Errors in one JavaScript file will break all other JavaScript files that are loaded after. Fortunately at the moment your current bible JavaScript is loaded before this theme file, which means this error currently is just a red herring.

If you were however to use the “Using Javascript” article outlined in that Codex resource, your JavaScript would load after the theme’s erroneous JavaScript file and then your code would break no matter what.

So, I don’t think you should go down that “Using JavaScript” route just yet.

okay so Andrew if i got you right, either i need to change the theme which supports javascript or just not to use any javascript in the current theme.
