    We are getting two error messages the first when using incognito modus my wifes site says its under construction. The other is “There was an error reconnecting Jetpack. Error: The registration secrets sent by your site do not match the ones the Jetpack server has on record”

    When trying to setup jetpack again as described I get the error message “set up jetpack an error occurred. please try again”.

    Posts that I’ve found recommend reinstalling Jetpack but it’s not possible since WordPress.com has enabled it as standard.

    I don’t know if the jetpack issue has anything to do with our website beginning under construction.

    It looks like your site is hosted at WordPress.com, so this is not the right place to seek for help.

    Your Jetpack connection seems to be running okay now, but if you still see that error on your end, you can contact the right support team via this page.
