Thanks for reaching out?@ibraheemofeeq. Based on the error you’re encountering, I suspect that what may be happening is some of your site URLs on the Site Kit service don’t match your current set up for your site. This may be based on a previous site URL.

So we can determine more on this, and ensure you can get the plugin successfully connected, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form?to share privately if preferred.??
    2. What is the URL of the page where you see this error? I ask as this may contain a no longer valid callback URL, based on your previous site. If so, you may be able to correct the URL to march your current setup in order to proceed.

Another option may be to modify your site URLs in order to proceed, adding or removing a www path. Alternatively, if we can determine incorrect records on the Site Kit service, we may be able to correct them. Once we have the information above we can troubleshoot further.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

@ibraheemofeeq I can see you have shared your site health information so thanks for that. I don’t see any information regarding point number 2 above however so could you please confirm if the URL of the page where you see this error?

I ask as this may contain a no longer valid callback URL, based on your previous site if you have changed the URL or migrated your site. If so, you may be able to correct the URL to march your current setup in order to proceed.

@ibraheemofeeq Thanks for confirming. One option here would be to temporarily switch your website back to non-www if possible and once done, perform a Site Kit reset. This will reset the saved site record on the Site Kit service and when you change back to www, you will be able to set up Site Kit without this issue.

I understand if this isn’t something you wish to do so please let me know if that’s the case and we may have to request a record update on the service for your site.

Thanks so much. It’s been resolved, I changed from www to non-www and it worked, then I changed back to www. Please why site performance changes when installed the plugin and how to resolve it

@ibraheemofeeq Glad to hear that worked for you. With regards to performance on your site when you use Site Kit, what you’re encountering is additional network requests based on adding services, which may also include other services such as Google Analytics and AdSense to your site. When doing so, it’s normal that there may be a trade off in performance, as there will be trips made between your site and the Google service networks. This is the same whether you use Site Kit or not to add these services.

We have performed tests around this in the past comparing both Site Kit placed code and placing the code manually finding that the difference between the two is very minimal and in most cases not noticeable.

We also added a?guide on the plugin website?that explains the above in more detail. If you’d be willing to share some more information such as your?Site Health information, I’d be happy to check things on your side to see if there’s anything that stands out that could cause this. You can use this form?to share privately if preferred.? Let me know have any further questions.
