the response is not a valid JSON response

  • I’m tryin to set up a page with woocommerce in order to sell my book. I already developed the page, I set up everything, but when I try to set up a store Home page, a “the response is not a valid JSON response” message appears. I don’t know what to do. Can anybody help me, please?

    The response is not a valid JSON error: It may be a lot of different things like a plugin conflict either 1) a plugin doing something that creates output, thus breaking the response or 2) a plugin doing something stupid with caching), an overloaded server, misconfigured http/https address in General Settings, permalinks, etc.

    To start with, try:
    – manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
    – Resetting permalinks.
