    Hi,

I have the following critical error on my site health screen which only appears when Bookly (free version) is activated.

When testing the REST API, an error was encountered:

    REST API Endpoint: https://re-activ8.com/wp-json/wp/v2/types/post?context=edit
REST API Response: (http_request_failed) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

I have checked by disabling all other plugins and it only occurs when Bookly is activated.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this error other than deactivating Bookly?

    Thanks in advance,

    Katie.

Hi, Katie. Please let me know what the REST API is: is it a third-party plugin or a custom code?

    Hi,

I’m sorry, I really don’t know. I have tried to open the link after the Endpoint but I just get a page that says this

    {“code”:”rest_forbidden_context”,”message”:”Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.”,”data”:{“status”:401}}

Is there a way for me to find out what this refers to?

Hi, at the moment, Bookly does not offer a REST API interface. It appears that you might be using a solution developed by a third party. To understand and resolve the issue, I recommend contacting the developer of this extension.

    Hi,

I only installed the free version of Bookly, I haven’t done anything with a 3rd party REST API, I wouldn’t even know where to begin.

I’m really wanting to upgrade my Bookly plugin to the pro version, but I’m concerned that I will still get this critical error. My other option is to use a different booking plugin, but I really like the features and pricing of Bookly, and I have already configured most of the settings in the free version.

If I upgrade to Pro would it be possible to get additional help with this issue?

I have upgraded to Bookly Pro. I enabled the Prevent PHP session locking in settings and the critical error on my site has now disappeared.

I look forward to using the Pro version now.

    Thank you!
