The results do not display upon submitting the quiz

I have same problem since updating Watu. When submit answers, top question disappears and results do not show (just the questions minus the top one). Please help.

I just submitted your quiz without any issues. You may need to clear your browser cache and try again.

Hi @prasunsen Ihad several plugins deactivated earlier for testing purposes. Just activated them all again and problem returned. Please see https://www.learntherevelation.com/chp-2-quiz/

Then some of the plugins that you activated is causing a fatal JS error on the page. Deactiavte them one by one. Deactivate one, check. Next one, check. This way you’ll find which one exactly is the offender. It’s not Watu.

If you can’t find it, I can see what the exact error is on Monday. For sure Watu Quiz is not the cause – another plugin causes fatal error which breaks the whole JavaScript on your site.

Hi @prasunsen you are right, WATU was NOT the problem. I did as you said and the problem seems to be Yoast SEO. Which surprises me. (Can you suggest a fix?) Anyway, thank you very much for your prompt and expert response. WATU is a great quiz app!!!

@jamersk It must be some of the settings in Yoast SEO. I can see that your site currently misses jQuery which is essential not just for Watu, but for most plugins.
Probably you can ask in their forum, if you are sure Yoast is causing it.

Hi @prasunsen I don’t get it. With five plugins temporaily deactivated WATU works on my PC but not on my mobile. So maybe the issue is not the plugins? Also, sometimes the submit button does not fire. Please help. This test has been very popular. Here’s one of the quizzes that work on the PC but not the mobile (despite clearing cache).

@jamesrk you have the same fatal error all the time “jQuery is not defined”.
And indeed, when I check your page source, jQuery is not there. This library is ESSENTIAL and must always be there. The reason is that the theme is not properly coded. You need to contact the theme developer and ask them to ensure that both wp_head() and wp_footer() are called properly.

jQuery MUST be loaded when we call it. Please, this is NOT a Watu problem and there is nothing I can do about it from the plugin code.

Even your homepage that has no quiz on it still throws a fatal JS error:

“Uncaught TypeError: e is not a function”

Websites should not throw fatal JS errors, never. If you can’t manage with this you will need a professional to help you to get the site in order.

@jamesrk just FYI, I checked your site again, and now there is another error:

“Uncaught ReferenceError: wp is not defined”

This is caused by customizer.js from your Hiero theme.

@prasunsen how do I check my site to discover that error?
