    Good Morning WordPress Experts!
I have a Home page with a slider at the top and a sidebar on the right side. The sidebar is showing up over the top of the slider. I would like to move the sidebar down so it starts under the slider. I assume it has something to do with padding, but do not know how to code (I just started WordPress last week!). I would greatly appreciate it if someone who knows how to solve this would be willing to share their knowledge with me. (I have been trying for 3 days searching for answers and still cannot figure it out!) Thanks so much. ??
Here is a link to the page:

How did you add the slider to your page?

I used Visual Composer to add the element “Revolution Slider 5”.

what i noticed by looking at your site is that there are two sections; a main content section, and a sidebar section. The slider should be placed above both of these sections, but from what I can see is only a part of the main content section. this placement allows the sidebar to act the way it does.

If the revolution slider was placed in the content section of the page editor (WYSIWYG) then that is what is causing the issue. I would reccomend creating a new template for the page you want the slider on and incorporate the rev slider directly in the template.

Yes you’re right, I did place the slider into the content section of the page. I think I understand what you are saying I need to do. I do not know how to make a template to place the slider in, so I will research that now and see what I can learn. Is that fairly simple? Thanks for helping with this issue.
