The robots.txt file uploaded at the root of my website is ignored
-
Hi there,
I’ve read some posts telling there is a virtual robots.txt file created by default by WordPress. I understand that once we manualy upload a true robots.txt filte at the root of the website, it overrides the virtual one.
Well, in my case, it doesn’t… The content of the true file is ignored. I even tried to upload a robots_test.txt in the same location to see how the server behaves, and it works : https://onlybuynature.com/robots_test.txt
So, I understand I upload my robots.txt at the right place, but it seems to ignored for a reason I cannot understand.
=> Does anyone know how to fix this ?
Thank you for your help
