    (*) IMPORTANT: When I click on “Start new scan”, below says: “Scan stop request received”.

    Hey @jcbsep,

    Do you see any errors in the browser console when trying to start the scan? If so, can you please share a screenshot?

    https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/troubleshooting/#how-to-inspect-the-browser-console

    Can you check for a conflict by disabling all other plugins and switching to a WordPress default theme to see if it helps?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Thanks for your quick reply @wfgerald .

    1) No, I don’t see any errors in the browser console when trying to start the scan (Console is empty and Network only shows status 200).

    2) I have disabled those plugins that I don’t have in the other websites where Wordfence is working (+ the theme is the same).

    But nothing.

    When I close the yellow warning and click the button “Start new scan”, it says: “Scan stop request received”.

    Any other ideas?

    Hey @jcbsep,

    Do you have any caching you can clear?

    Are all plugins and WordPress up to date?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Yes. I just purged all caches. Not changes though.

    And yes, all plugins are up to date.

    Hey @jcbsep,

    Can you send me a Diagnostics report so I can get a better overview of your environment? Please navigate to Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics. Here you can select SEND REPORT BY EMAIL. Please include your www.ads-software.com username and update this thread after you’ve sent it.

    Thanks,

    @wfgerald Did you find something?

    @wfgerald
    I’m also facing the same issue at a client site. I have sent report and included my www.ads-software.com username. Please let me know if I have to do anything more to run the scan completely.
    Thanks a lot

    In my case,I suspect Cloudflare could be interfering I have whitelisted WordFence IP range https://prntscr.com/qhwrq2 and set the CF-connecting IP option https://prntscr.com/qhwtnr I also set it to use low resources https://prntscr.com/qhwu5z

    Hey @jcbsep,

    Can you please enable Debugging mode in Tools > Diagnositics > Debugging Options then run another scan and share the Scan Log here?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey @jcbsep,

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

    Please feel free to open another thread if you’re still having issues with Wordfence.

    Thanks,

    1) @wfgerald You didn’t heard from me in a while cause, although I sent the report by email right away, I didn’t have an answer in 1 month (and I had the problem fixed in between). So yes, I don’t have the problem anymore for the moment and we can mark this thread as “resolved”.

    2) @sansolo Sorry for not replying before. I paid for Wordfence premium and according to them, the problem fixed itself. At some point they could run the scan and that’s it. I asked them what they did, but the answer was that “the scans were running well”. So, I don’t know what was wrong. I’m sorry I can’t help.
