    I am new to wordpress and am receiving the message below. I have cleared my cache, cookies, tried using a different computer, a different network, etc. The website opens, but I cannot view my other categories. Please advise me on how to do this. Thank you.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thank you for your help.

    I tried switching to the Twenty Eleven theme, I reset my plugins folder, I re-uploaded all files and folders from a fresh download of w I have contacted the bluehost support team, and they keep telling me everything is running fine. It still is showing the same error. The website is https://www.coprawater.com

    In Bluehost the default setting is to report all php errors to a file called error_log. They should be able to help you find the file on the server. That will tell you what the error is.

    How do you suggest I handle this?

    Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
