I am monetizing my WP CMS as a SMB and I find very useful this plugin + the service. I think GDPR has prompted a lot of people to rush to write solutions and Cookiebot seems to be on the right track.
It is true, I also want to see more of it (for instance banners and controls for AMP pages served with the AMP plugin) but since Google did a lot of things very late and potentially incomplete I know I have to wait. For the timebeing, facing huge penalty danger, I disabled and redirected all AMP versions of my posts to my normal site. When AMP will be stable and GDPR compliant I will put them back. My traffic hurts but that it the cost to be compliant at the date.
I also applied for reseller account since I am doing websites for many of my friends. Just saved them from the imminent danger with the free version of Cookiebot service!
I advise do not mind 1 star reviews. People perhaps do not properly grasp GDPR stuff yet.
