Hello. The iThemes Security plugin settings panel is not displayed in the site admin panel. I tried to roll back the version of iThemes Security – installed a later one (for example – 7.9.1. or 8.1.2) there is no result. I updated wordpress to the latest version – 6.3. and your plugin to version 8.1.7 – there is no result. This happens only on one site. Recently, after updating iThemes Security above version 7.9.1., it has not become clear at all whether the plugin works or not. There is one site where themes Security version 7.9.1 is installed., so daily reports on locks and events are visible on this site, and as soon as new releases of the iThemes Security plugin above version 8 were released, the statistics generally subsided – there are no locks, no events!?

Can you tell me what needs to be done to restore the functionality of your plugin?

Hi @nikonn, apologies for the delayed response! Are you still experiencing the issue? If so, could you please conduct a conflict check and let me know if the issue persists when only the iThemes Security plugin is activated on the site (please switch to a default WP theme)? Please also ensure that the site’s server allows all REST HTTP methods. These are the REST HTTP methods: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, and OPTIONS.

Hope this helps, and I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

Hello. Thank you for the answer. I carried out all operations on your recommendation as indicated in your instructions. I disabled all plugins and turned them on one at a time – the problem was not detected. I tried to change the topic – the problem was not identified. Unfortunately, I did all the manipulations, but the problem could not be solved. If I install the version of your Themes Security plugin version 7.9.1, then in the admin panel on the Ithemes Security settings page, the section blocks get knocked off – they are elongated, not symmetrically arranged.

Hi @nikonn, I see. Could you please confirm if you’ve also tried switching to a default WP theme, like Twenty-Twenty Three, and ensure that the site’s PHP version is 7.3 (iTSec 8.1.3 and up requires PHP 7.3)? If so, what happens if you re-install a fresh copy of the latest plugin version? If you haven’t yet, please make sure to deactivate and delete the currently installed version before re-installing.

If the issue persists, please share your Site Health Info here by going to WP Admin > Tools > Site Health > Info and clicking “Copy site info to clipboard”. Please also share any errors you see on your site’s PHP error log and browser console when viewing the plugin settings. If you’re unfamiliar with accessing the PHP error log, please contact your host for help.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Hello. I can say with confidence that the PHP version is on the server 7.3.3. As for changing the theme for the site, I will try in the near future, at the moment I cannot change the theme, since there are constant visitors on the site, I will change the theme next weekend and inform you about the result.

@nikonn, thanks for confirming! I’d suggest using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin’s “Troubleshooting Mode” to be able to switch to a default WP theme without affecting your site’s live front end. Here’s a more detailed explanation of how to do it: Conflict Check using the Health Check Plugin.

I look forward to hearing from you.
