The share button is not displayed

Thanks for getting back to us. We won’t show the share button on the taxonomies and author pages, as these pages are archives, and the chance for website users to share the page is very low. That’s why we are not showing those settings on our plugin’s settings page.

If you want it for the author pages, please provide more details, or you can submit it here so we can consider it for the upcoming versions.

As due to the above mentioned reason, there’s no workaround at this moment to display the button on archive pages. However, I will add this feature to our list to be consider it for future releases. You can also submit your ideas and features here.

How can I set this up now, not in a future release?

As I mentioned above, it’s not possible to add the share button on an archive page for now. It won’t be able to get the page URL while clicking on it for native sharing compared to the other normal pages, and the number of users sharing an archive page is very low. We can consider your feature request in future releases.

If there is a technical possibility to make a feature request, could you add it now?

The next version is a major release having a lot of features. The testing phase of the respective version is going on at our end. Due to that, we cannot accommodate this feature request to the coming version, as another testing from scratch need to be done if we include it for now. Moreover, it will be a time taking process for us as we are a small team who works mostly during midnight after our day to day office/company works for bread and butter.
