The site is experiencing technical difficulties.

  • Hello Friends,

    I have been trying to Create an Ecommerce website in WordPress.
    Theme Astra – Astra Starter Sites – I tried to import one Ecommerce Site but it keep rorating every time for hours. I did NOT succeed in importing any of the site instead now In My Dashboard it gives the following message from yesterday that “Your Page Builder designs are being updated in background. We will inform you when the update is complete.”

    And if try to install New plugin or try to import any theme then it is giving me following message in the blank screen “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”.

    I checked my registered email id but there are no email in my inbox with instructions.
    Can you please help, how can i fix this problem.

  • Hello, I’d say this is better suited as a question for Astra support.

    This is not just an ASTRA issue, since upgrading to 5.2 wordpress users are being locked out of their admin dashboards by “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”, said email never arrives at my admin. I personally have been locked out of my admin now on 3 different website having nothing to do with ASTRA and have to go and revert back to 5.1 via FTP to get back into my WP admin.

    This is so obviously a bug with 5.2 and nothing to do with ASTRA

    I believe this is just happening with eCommerce Themes not with Blogs… experience the same thing and tried multiple ecommerce themes and got the same error with everyone of them but not when I used the blog themes or Flatsome
    Please tell me if someone finds a solution to this

    Hi @andraganescu,

    I have raised a ticket to Astra support team. They have asked for admin ID and Password + FTP login details to debug this issue. Hopefully they will fix this issue.

    Yes, i also heard the same that there is some issue with WP 5.2 version.
    So i also tried to install 5.1 version on my domain and tried to install the Astra themes then also the same problem.
    # Deleted all the plugins and then tried to import the starter site then also it did not help.

    So i finally decided to raise a ticket to Astra Team now.
    lets see…

    I will update you guys on the further progress on this issue.
