• Hi guys,

I logged in to our self hosted WordPress blog (https://linktechaustralia.com.au/) today and received the error:

The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin em

It does not show this error on the front page thankfully.

I am the admin, but I didn’t receive the so-called email.

    What I have tried:

Disabled all the plugins and still see the error.

Logged in and out a few times with same issue.

Changed the PHP version a few times.

I haven’t disabled the theme because I’m afraid of not getting it back.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Thanks for your help, I do appreciate it. I have already tried disabling all the plugins. I’ll take a look at the theme when I’m at home. Thank you!
