the sitemap option disappeared from the plugin menu

As of the 7.0 release of Yoast SEO you would no longer see the XML Sitemaps option in the SEO menu. Whether pages, posts, and other content types are included in the XML sitemap is now controlled through the ‘Search Appearance>Content Types’ area. When you choose whether a page is shown in search results, this also affects whether it is included in the sitemap. I use Photo Gallery as an image plugin and usually have a sitemap for it. From version 7 Yoast automatically creates all sitemaps that are feasible. Now I have three Sitemaps with identical content and would therefore like to disable two sitemaps. But that is no longer possible.
