Could you post a link to the slideshow here so I can have a look?

    Thanks!

Could you try to deactivate all other plugins, one at a time, and let me know if you find a conflicting plugin? If that doesn’t help, could you try switching to another theme, like Twenty Thirteen, for a few minutes, and let me know if it changes anything?

Hello Jeremy, I have activated the twentyfourteen (instead of the child thme) everything is correct (slideshow with correct width. I have checked the CSS of the child theme, nothing should overwrite the width …

If you can see the slideshow with Twenty Fourteen enabled, but it goes away when you enable your child theme, then the child theme is definitely causing the issue.

What I would recommend is editing your child theme’s style.css file while looking at your site. If you remove things chunk by chunk, eventually it should start working again. When it does, you’ll know in which chunk the faulty CSS is. You can narrow it down from there to the exact rule that’s causing issues.

Let me know how it goes, thanks! ??
