So I bought cleantalk spam filter to check through my 6000+ comments for spam, as doing so manually would take a few days. And then I ran the spam filter… and I get this:

Last check Nov 1 2023: checked 5897 comments, found 117 spam comments and 6 non-checkable comments (without IP and email).

When I scroll through the almost 6000 comments, all I see are obviously spammy links, some foreign language long comments with links, and nearly nothing else. Out of 6000 comments like 99% are definitely spammy.

How do I get the spam filter to work correctly? Because right now it was just money wasted, as it didn’t catch 99% of spam.

Very disappointed in the product so far.

    Hello.

The Comments scanner checks IPs/emails status in our blacklists at the current time. It does not analyze the text of the comments.

You can enable the Accurate check option and it will check the IPs/emails status at the time the comment was posted.
