I haven’t decided if Pods is the best way for me to add a custom type to an existing web site, as I’d really want it to use WP pages, so I can have maximum control over pagination and so on, so I needed to update myself with some docs and I thought pods.io was the place for that.

It is certainly disconcerting that when you click a menu option you’re met with a 404 page stating “404: Page not found

Apologies, but the page you’re looking for can’t be found.”

If this is what is typical of Pods, then why would anyone want to use it? I guess it’s likely related to some other issue or oversight, but I can’t know that.

We had pushed an update to our website and that does occasionally require a visit of Settings, Permalinks to clear the 404 error. If you check now, you should be able to see the docs properly.

If you have a specific question, we can definitely try to help point you in the right direction.
