Sorry about that. You may have checked the permissions for the regular swetest file. But, I forgot to add documentation to explain how to check the permissions for the Windows server swetest file. I just added the following to the documentation. Please see if this helps:
ZodiacPress Windows Server includes a file called swetest.exe that must have permission to execute in order to get the planetary positions from the Swiss Ephemeris. The path to the file is:
plugins/zp-windows-server/sweph/swetest.exe
If you received this error notice: “The Swiss Ephemeris is not working,” you may have to log in to your web host and manually set the permission for the swetest.exe
file.
If your Windows hosting platform allows you to set specific permissions, then set the permission for the swetest.exe
file to allow everyone to “read and execute” it, but the “owner” should also have permission to “write” to it.
If your Windows hosting platform does not allow you to set specific permissions, then at least make sure that the swetest.exe
file is not set to “read only.”
