The sync from Google Sheets is great

  • When client with limited WP skill or knowledge need to edit tabular data on their website regularly, I implement Ninja tables since my clients ability to use spreasheets is second nature.

    The only thing that bugs me with the Sheets integration, is the sync doesn’t accept merge cells. For example, if I had a 2 column table, and the 2nd column was merged across all the rows, the table in WP would show the merged cell as the top-left most cell, removing the entire 1st column. It’s just a bit limiting, and only allows simple table set ups.

    Could you please share some screenshots to help us better understand your issue? Typically, a Google Sheet integrated with Ninja Tables requires the use of #colspan# in any cell where you want to merge with the previous cell. I’m a bit unclear about the problem you’re experiencing, so screenshots of both the sheet and the table would be very helpful.
