The tag is missing. Virtue theme

  • The <h1> tag is missing. I have this problem in bing webmaster, and i dont find any place were i can add title and SEO for home page https://www.foliexperten.no
    Also i have two more errors for this page. One is “multiple descriptions on the page” and the other one is “The description is too long or too short.”
    Its great if somebody can give me some advice how to fix this problem, but try to explain like for a very beginner with wordpress.

  • Hey,
    You can add an h1 tag to your home page. On most pages it is your page title. So since you don’t have the “page title” module enabled in the home layout options in the theme options you can just add an h1 tag in your home page content. Just understand that an h1 tag is a title. It’s something that is visible and large, not something like meta data.

    As for your description tags in the meta data I recommend using Yoast SEO for your SEO meta data. It has a built in counter to show you how long the meta description should be.
