I am seeing error “The tag ‘link rel=canonical’ appears more than once in the document.” on my pages.

I deactivated Rankmath plugin and Swift performance to check if that resolves it, but I still see it, but no luck.

Homepage version of amp page was erroring because there was no rel=canonical was found, so I added it via “Advanced Settings” in “Amp For WP” plugin, once I added this, I started seeing errors as mentioned above in all other pages except homepage.

Where do you see the canonical error?

Currently, I see the different errors which are causing due to the “Https” remover.

Are you using any plugins to remove the https protocol?

Can you share the image where you see the Canonical error?

Canonical Error: I removed rel=canonical from advanced settings to have error only on the homepage, the remainder of pages are now passing. I see error “The mandatory tag ‘link rel=canonical’ is missing or incorrect.” on homepage amp version https://monosnap.com/file/F30LmCMOOiqhL5TFiDTJTiQdGXUCS2

I do have a canonical link set on the homepage, still, it does not show on the homepage amp version: https://monosnap.com/file/Im21EGDrf4XpLRC7jMKykDRmz40zu6

Removal of https error: Weird, I don’t see https missing error on any amp page.

That’s strange, Can you please file a bug report on https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/accelerated-mobile-pages/issues/new

Our Dev team works on the bug report and solves them in the plugin updates.
