  • Hi @sergey9551,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We understand you get the 0 words notification, despite having some content in some fields. I can imagine this is confusing, so let’s see what’s on.

When you say ‘bottom content’, what field are you referring to exactly? Please know that by default, Yoast SEO only scans the post content itself in the WordPress default block editor or classic editor when you use this plugin. If you are adding content through custom fields or any other fields, we might not be able to find that content by default … See: https://yoast.com/help/error-text-contains-0-words/

I’m in a regular wordpress editor, loading content to the bottom, if yoast doesn’t see the text, search engines won’t see it either?

    Hey @sergey9551,

Thank you for your quick response.

‘Bottom content’ is not a default field, so Yoast isn’t scanning it. If you want to add this to our analysis, please check: https://yoast.com/help/add-custom-fields-to-yoast-seo-premium-plugin-settings/

You also asked, “if yoast doesn’t see the text, search engines won’t see it either?” – No. Google and other search engines look at the page HTML source code, if that content is there, they can read it. It’s just Yoast SEO not being able to find your custom fields’ content by default.
