The Theme Directory Search engine doesn’t find all the themes

    Hello

    Sorry if this thread isn’t posted in the right category. I found it hard to decide where to post it.

    When I search for “desk mess” I get no results but “desk mess mirrored” is a theme in the www.ads-software.com theme directory.

    Why can’t all the themes in the directory be searched for?
    Are there other themes that people have looked for that showed no results even when they are stored in the directory?

    It’s because the exact name of he theme is Desk Mess Mirrored NOT Desk Mess.

    Please note – if you intend to use it – this theme has not been maintained or updated for over 4 years.

    I searched for “dark mess mirrored” just now and no results came up.

    The correct place is actually https://meta.trac.www.ads-software.com/
    Partially matches work fine. Probably there is a limit on the search, due to age of theme though.

    I found the theme which is good but the search looks for an exact match of the name.

    Themes older than 2 years are not shown in search results unless you search for an exact name match. This is intentional, older themes may not be up to date or as fully capable as newer themes are.
