  • I am having the same exact issue on the same exact version. Is this a bug?

Et too… trying to install a plugin in zip.
Updated version of one I already had installed…

anyone know how to fix this?

iM1: can you check through ftp if that (sub)directory exists on your server? (uploads/2009/11) and what (writing) rights it has (chmod to 0777) or 0755.)

    I’m getting it too.

    WP-Content is set to 755
    WP-Content/Uploads is set to 755
    WP-Content/Uploads/2009 is set to 777
    WP-Content/Uploads/2009/11 is set to 777

And if yo go down for the 777 to 755 ? Some hosts do not like 777

I just manually downloaded the zipped plugin and extracted it to my desktop. I think the creator doubled up on the directory:

    \Desktop\maxref-widgets\maxref-widgets\maxref-widgets

    should be:

    \Desktop\maxref-widgets\maxref-widgets

    (i think!)

Anyway, I ftp’d just the folder and contents to the plugin directory and everything is good to go.
