Real-life examples are always the most valuable ones. Are you able to share specific examples of things your clients struggle with?

Please feel free to share these thoughts in the GitHub repository. There is in fact a User Interface label you might want to take a look at.

    Thank you for the feedback!

Just Clone GHOST for the post. And Buy Gutemberg for an easy page editor.

Designing a whole new editor for posts at this point might not be practical, but there’s definitely scope for improving the experience for people writing posts most of the time. Are there any specific features from the Ghost editor that you(or your clients) like, that would be useful to have in WP?

Users that just want to write do not need 90% of options that are given when you press / – the Post writing experience is very different from the page design experience.

The block editor is often over the content, it s lagging behind when typing, when you copy and then paste you copy a lot of extra information, dragging around stuff is a pain.

sometime i wonder if the production team has used other text editor… ghost, medium, even linkedin has a better editor!

    Hi @rotello,

I understand and agree that the block use is different on regular posts when comparing with pages, but I disagree that it is a problem to have all the options in both types.

Still, if you have specific suggestions, please create as an issue on GitHub: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/

As Gutenberg is open source, it was created with many different perspectives in mind from all project contributors. You can see the full list here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/graphs/contributors

PS: If you have not already contributed to the project, you could help to shape it with your experience (and even your code if you are a developer).
