I don’t know if the snippet applies normally. If applied normally, the capacity of wp-content/cache should be less than now.

If you apply the snippet without using a child theme, it will disappear when the theme is updated.

Still the files are not being automatically deleted by the snippet. Please make sure there is no other way

@blackdeth73 The only option is to manually purge the minified files from WP-optimize Minify or manually delete it from wp-content folder
