The wordpress app (android)

    Not sure where to ask about this but ill give it a go,
    i have a website and making a new one in the background. Now it has this in the end
    https://www.example.com/wordpress and when i try to log-in with the app it does not work.
    I also tried to use https://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-admin wich i use to log in but still no succes.
    The “normal” site i can run on the app. Does the app not let me log in because it is working offline at the moment?

    These forums are for WordPress software support on your web server but for Android app support asking there will probably get you the best results.

    I am going to try to do my best to help you here but first you need to provide me with answers to a few questions that will help me better diagnose the issue:

    1. Are you hosted on WordPress.com ? Or do you have your own server where you have installed WordPress?

    2. “I also tried to use https://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-admin wich i use to log in but still no succes.” – Did you try this via the WordPress app downloaded from the app store?

    3. “Does the app not let me log in because it is working offline at the moment?” – What do you mean by offline mode? If you do not have internet connection or internet data on your mobile phone you will not be able to log in.

    1) i am hosted by someone else and my website name is like https://www.example.com but then with my site
    2) Yes i downloaded it tru the app store
    3) i have internet but the website is using a plugin to appear offline so no 1 can see the website yet. Because it is under construction at the moment.

    The app works on the site that is “online” now but not on the one that has the plugin to appear offline. I can work tru the normal wordpress site but the app does not let me log in if i try.
